Title: Geography a bludge?
Post by: tripz on September 07, 2009, 10:34:19 pm
Anyone finding it a bludge? We've only had 3 SACs (one being a fieldwork) and I've only studied Geography 1/5 the times compared to any other subject like Biology. Both subjects probs being as good as each other

For a lot of people it is, heaps of people in our class bludge it but paying attention helps a hell of a lot.  I didn't concentrate much for Unit 3 but lifted my marks up from B's to high A's and A+'s when I did start to study in Unit 4 (the topics were always my strong point anyway though).

We've had a heap of SAC's though, most if not all of our topics got broken into 2 different SACS.

At my school geography is definitely NOT a bludge. My teachers marks us at a very high standard and lots of people find it quite challenging! Our SACs are quite difficult. I guess it depends on what your teacher is like :)

Haha yes it is a bludge, apart from our few sacs which we do at home anyways, Our sacs where like 30 page reports or 20 min presentations. But actual class work, a complete bludge, Field trip was fun, Philip Island<3 . The Sacs were a headache though, and were really bad to procrastinate, along side with him being a tough marker. We had 4 sacs.
