Legal Studies is finito!! What did you guys think?

Tricky? Easy?

It was a great question for me! I found I could select evidence and relevant laws quite easily. I think I wrote too much though, the exam paper said to limit it to 5 pages of the 8 page booklet but I went over onto another exam booklet. Do you have any tips for writing succinctly in crime?????

This wasn't my approach, but I know other people who left the crime essay to last for this exact reason. They just used whatever time was left to write the crime essay, because it is so easy to go overboard on a question that isn't worth as much as the option essays!

I was ridiculously disciplined in my approach to essays. I watched the clock consistently, checking at the end of every paragraph. When I was checking the clock so often, I'd be constantly making decisions of what to cut and what to add in order to finish the essay, with the greatest paragraphs possible, at the time I set for myself.

You're totally right about the cases, I really didn't consider just how applicable so many common legal studies cases are for partial defences. Good on you!
