FSN would have:
Median ENTER: 97.4
% Study Scores over and equal to 40: 52.27%
Median Study Score: 40
Where MHS, Mac.Rob and Bialik acheived respectively:
% > 40: 41, 45, 35
Median: 38, 39, 38
EDIT: Raw data here - http://symposia.voodooed.net/2007-res.csv

go us
-
This is flawed because it relies on voluntarily reported statistics. If you only looked at voluntarily reported statistics from any school, chances are the median ENTERs will be higher.
That said, however, I'm sure the quality of our member base is still very high on average.
-
It is a flawed analysis from the start, I admit that =D
But what else do I have to go on?
It is, however, consistent with the self-selective population we have here..
-
lol! every1 is like so smart around here >.< i suppose its because we're motivated that we're here in the first place! it's something hard to live up to for us 08ers though =P
-
Wow. We are pretty great :)
-
Wow! Very Impressive!!!
-
Does percentage of study scores over 40 include 40?
-
Yes.
If we went strictly >40, the percentage would be 49.43%
-
Lol that's great! Go FSN! We should be recognised as an educational institution :P
-
Then shouldn't the original posts wording be altered to make it 40 inclusive?
-

well its not really informative because you have self-selection bias. only those with higher ENTERs would disclose it on FSN. what about the members who chose not to disclose it? the study score statistics aren't as useful as the ENTER scores because the study scores do not take into account scaling.

It is, but I don't have much more to go on it.
That said, the community itself if pretty self-selective as it stands as coblin already mentioned.
-
I don't see where it says that it includes scores of 40 :-[... :o
-
There. No numbers were changed.
-
Lol sorry I just felt like being particular about it =P
