The University of Melbourne has a list containing under represented schools. If you school is in it, then you can apply for SEAS.

Heres the list of the schools which are recognised as under represented by Melbourne Uni:

sorry!!! I mean't how do you know they ACKNOWLEDGED you that is that u were  "awarded" or given the "consideration", or is it that you DON'T find out, they just mix it in ur marks. Like if my schools ON that list, does that mean i automatically get consideration and an increment? Or am I thinking  the wrong way

I should have been more clear! Sorry

All SEAS applications that are approved get acknowledged (i.e. the ones they don't contact you to say you need additional evidence). Non-ENTER entry counts for about 20% of all entries, and your SEAS/middle-band are acknowledged, ranked, and the offers made to top applicants to fill up the places.

I know I am reviving this thread again.

But do Universities have a higher chance of accepting students who got below the 1st round ENTER requirement, and who have applied for SEAS if the course is not really popular? Or that there is a shortage of a particular profession which that course directly leads to?

I'm worried I wont get the ENTER I need =(
