Hey there! Welcome to the forums! ;D

Quick Aside: School rank plays no direct role in determining your ATAR. I got 99.80 from a 300+ ranked school. Yes, your cohorts performance counts, but 95% of the work is all on you :)

It's tricky to give an ATAR estimate with ranks alone. All I can say is that the moderation process will be very kind to you for Ancient History and IPT, reasonably kind for English and SOR II, perhaps not too kind for 2 Unit Mathematics. But exactly what effect that has depends on the sorts of marks you are pulling, and further, the sorts of marks you think you can pull in the HSC exam! :)

Hey,

These are my final ranks for all of my HSC subjects:

English Advanced: 2/67
Biology: 2/80
Legal Studies:1/46
Business Studies: 1/52
Mathematics General: 1/60
English Extension 1: 3/7

My assessment ranks for all of my subjects would be in the 90s expects Mathematics General and Biology which would be high 80s. My school would be somewhere in the 200s.

From this, is it possible to give a rough atar estimate??

Thanks!

Disclaimer: ATAR estimates are never accurate. I got estimated a 91.2 and I got way higher. Plus I don't use the ATAR calculator nor do I use the raw marks database - I'm going off intuition.

Massively disagree with Rui here (this happens on Occassion ;) ) - If you get the marks you have now in the HSC, especially with those ranks, I think you'd be looking at above 95 pretty comfortably, if you can work hard and get everything into the 90's, then perhaps even higher!

I always leave huge disclaimers for ATAR estimates because I already know how unreliable they are anyhow

We should construct an estimator and calculate a standard error:

Lectures are fun!!

Calm down :P

Also, my estimates are based off current positions. I never factor in improvement with an ATAR estimate

90-95.8

Once again, emphasising the inaccuracy of the estimate.
