i was wondering what to put for my 2nd preference, currently i have Accounting and Banking/finance at Monash caulfied in mind, thing is i really want to get into UoM commerce(which is my 1st pref). if i dont get into commerce and i decide to do engineering at UoM and transfter after the 1st semester what kind of averages would i need to get? does that mean i have to do a summer semester to catch up with commerce subjects in semester 1?

it requires a 75% average to transfer into the bachelor of commerce; and i'm quite sure that since you can apply midyear, then you start the course midyear -- that being you do first semester subjects in semester two. and end the degree half a year later then the people who started in semester one. however, i know that it's possible to obtain credit from certain subjects you do in your degree before you transfer so you are able to finish your degree in the 3 years. but otherwise, you will have to do an extra semester or do a summer semester if the courses are running then. you may have to call to find out.

(I know it says 2009, but the offerings are basically the same each summer...I wonder why they offer so many commerce subjects in summer...)
