Title: How does the scaling work?
Post by: MCgunem on October 10, 2016, 11:29:32 am
I have used the ATAR calculator and it gives the raw mark and the scaled mark. How is the scaled mark calculated and what does it represent?

Yeah. I put my raw marks on there as well.

People buy their exam marks and then just donate the information to the database.

What you must keep in mind is that they are, of course, historical data. The alignment algorithm varies every year to some extent, even if it isn't by much.
