OMG! looks like the next generation will have no appreciation or understanding of their past!

How we will know where we are going if we don't know where we've been?!!

grrr people.... lol.

grr makes me angry when people say that!

The problem is the interesting content can't properly be taught until year 12 level because the concepts are to challenging for earlier year levels. Thus the content students are exposed to at in early years of schooling is dry and mundane which in turn puts students off the subject... it's not fair. :-(

Yay for the exam = 3 days...........
hahaha, who am I kidding.

They aren't running Aussie history next yr at my school either, not enough people, I'm so glad I did it this year.

And I completely agree, you do all this 'aust hist' in the younger years but nothing really relates to the study design, coz it's heaps different.

Why I would have done so well in revs, because I already knew the basics.

How I feel about the exam?
Um, I think that I"m screwed really. and my results are going to look shit coz I got As for the SACs and now like a C for the exam...
argh
but it's all good =]

it's only my 6th subject for next yr

im planning to do something like:

A: 25mins
B: 25mins
then D: 35mins
then C: 35mins

and hopefully pinch a few more mins from Sections A and B for the essay.

Good Luck everyone!

Just to revive the post;
I do Australian History and was wondering when we get to unit 4 do we only do or get to chose what topic we do e.g. WW1 or do we have to do it all. My teacher explained this, but she wasnt clear. Do we still look over the other stuff or just focus on WW1 and skip WW2 and then obviously pick WW1 on the exam? :S

Just WWI in AOS 3 (ie unit 4 aos 1) or vietnam, environment, aborgines or something else for AOS4
So your teacher will pick a unit for you
