Hey guys
Is it possible to get an offer for biomed at melbourne uni with an atar of 88.2 but with five additional points from seas and with access melbourne?

Very unlikely. But you can really do all of the same stuff in science that you would otherwise do in Biomed. Key difference is that the Science cohort is significantly less neurotic than Biomed :p

If you're looking for entry into postgraduate medicine - definitely don't worry about doing a general science degree instead of a biomed degree. It will make no difference to your chances of acceptance :)
