I have to answer this question with reference to 2x of her poems and my related text which is The Violets by Gwen Harwood.

Hey charlottegyler! If we're talking about poetry, textual form is referring to the structure of the poems. And its super important. For example the poem South of My Days is written in a kind of narrative form (perhaps even historical) since it recounts the story of the life of Old Dan. So once you've identified the form of the poem you need to ask yourself; Why did Wright choose to structure her poem like this? What point is she trying to get across? Is this meaning made clearer/stronger/more confronting through her choice of structure?
