I'm taking in an exercise book with my summaries in it... apparently some people are taking in their textbooks but it seems a bit pointless. You wouldn't want to be trying to flick through a big textbook finding stuff in the middle of the exam. :P

you wouldnt want to flip through any notes during the exam..
should've have everything remembered. the notes are for just incase you forget a formulae or something.

if you prepared enough, u'll find urself bringing a bound reference that you worked on for a long time, and dont even get to use it

The only thing worth writing down is scalar/vector resolutes (parallel and perpendicular).

Everything else is given to you.

I'm probably going to bring this book:

I don't think I'll need it (I didn't use any bound references for the practice exams I've done), but I thought I should bring it just in case I forget something.

Thats true, but writing up/adding notes to a bound reference is really good for studying, it helps you summarise what you know and organise yourself.

I'm bringing that in too. Its OK; its got some good stuff in it but misses some important stuff too

yeah, thats what ive got aswell, except cross reference it with a few other texts, eg smart study/checkpoints, so you can fill in the blanks it leaves

I like it mainly because of the space for notes down half of every page.
keeping it by me when i do practice exams, to add whatever.
