Hi people, say if you get into commerce @ deakin (melb), could you transfer to Melbourne/Monash uni the next year even though you only done further mathematics where else monash prerequisite is method for undergraduate? Or is there any other ways to make the transfer successful?
-
from my knowledge... if you have commenced your degree and finished first year then transfer, the entry prereq shouldnt matter... but it's for the unis to decide what credit is transferred cross institution... if that made sense.
-
Yeah, I'm pretty sure pre-reqs don't matter once you're in uni as long as you get the 1st year results they require.
One of my friends got into Deakin commerce (Geelong) if that helps haha ....

Is this still the same or did they change it?

*bump*
Any updates on this at all? is it possible to transfer to Melbourne Uni from Deakin?

I called UniMelb and they said that no matter how many Commerce units you complete at another university, you still must satisfy the mathematics pre-requisite.
