Hi!
I'm doing the topic The Media Should Not Glamourise and Sensationalise Criminals and I'm agreeing to with the topic. So far I'm planning to talk about the exposure of crimes in books, movies, tv shows, and video games but I'm not really sure how to go on from there.
What are some arguments against the media glamourising and sensationalising crime/criminals in the media? And also what examples can I use from the last 12 months (events/major news in Australia)?
Thank you so much :)

Hey,
Sounds like a good topic idea! :)
An example in the past twelve months could be Schapelle Corby's release from prison in Indonesia.
There's been a lot of controversy in the media about the way she's being treated as a 'celebrity'.
Here's a link that might be helpful:

Hope that helps :D
