I was just informed that my school will not have Specialist Math next year. Really sad though because I actually wanted to take Specialist :(
One option that I asked was to learn it through distant education. I know Specialist would be fairly hard, and I am not that 100% confident in learning it (but I still want to take it don't judge meh :P ), therefore will it be extra difficult taking it through online courses? Has anyone here learnt Specialist Mathematics through distant education? Are there any advantages or disadvantages that I should consider? Or should I change my math subject to another one? (I'll definitely take Methods though) :P
Thank you xoxo :-* :-*

I'm doing it currently and will be progressing with methods and specialist through distance next year in year 12 as my school doesn't have the classes. I have personally found methods harder than specialist. As long you keep up to date ( i say this as i am 3 weeks behind) you will be fine, don't lose motivation and work hard

I would be veeeeery cautious about doing specialist by distance. We've only got two periods a week due to having a small class and the reduced contact hours definitely hurt
