Title: Ultimate happy music playlist!
Post by: elysepopplewell on August 14, 2017, 05:51:46 pm
I want to make the playlist to end all Sunday morning playlists.
I've already got Walking on Sunshine, and Bruno Mars' Lazy Song - but I need more HAPPY, FEEL GOOD, MAKES YOU WANNA SHAKE YOUR BUM AS YOU COOK PANCAKES, kinda songs.
Which songs make you super happy like this?
Perfect for the morning grind and certainly very good for picking up your mood when study is quashing it like the inconvenient thing study is.
Please, tell me your grooviest songs! :)

I am LAUGHING OUT LOUD this is hilarious. I'm also adding Bohemian Rhapsody so I can do all the vocals at once!!
There are too many vocal tracks, I can't keep up! I feel like Bohemian Rhapsody is the one song you can put on and immediately have everybody singing :D
Also, we can't forget another important song! Let me start... JUST A SMALL TOWN GIRL LIVIN' IN A LONELY WORLD SHE TOOK THE MIDNIGHT TRAIN GOING ANNNNYYYWHHEERREEE

Is it just me or older t-swift songs are one of the best feel-good bangers? In times of boredom (this happened twice during trials lol), I pretty much force my little sister for an iconic duet of:
- You belong with me - We are never ever getting back together
#exposed
Ps. Bohemian Rhapsody (as mentioned above) and I Will Survive are classics too (obvi). AND DON'T FORGET HIPS DON'T LIE BY SHAKIRA.

Fuckin' love some low-key T-swiz.
Caleb, I'll raise you a Drops of Jupiter
Now that she's back in the atmosphere With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey She acts like summer and walks like rain Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey Since the return from her stay on the moon She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey

TELL ME, DID YOU SAIL ACROSS THE SUN DID YOU MAKE IT TO THE MILKY WAY TO SEE THE LIGHTS ALL FADED AND THAT HEAVEN IS OVERRATED
Can we publish an ATAR Notes singalong album?

I never would have known this as anything but the pina colada song. Thank you for clarifying.

Does this count?
You may think I'm joking, because whenever one of my siblings (inc. myself) do something really amazing, we have to do the HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYA bit :D

These ones are kinda overplayed now but: There's nothing Holdin' Me Back or Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes Shape of You by Ed Sheeran (or pretty much any of the songs on his last two albums) Wake Up by the Vamps (I was obsessed with this song about two years ago)
I need to make a happy playlist now :D

Nah, some of the songs from + are really good as well except I don't have it on my phone so I don't listen to it as much. I'm going to his concert next year and I can't wait. :)

Maybe Livin' La Vida Loca? I just realised that it was in Shrek and I watched the video on youtube. I do not know how to feel at all.

Wham! is very groovy and has music that is bound to put you in a good mood, but beware, the catchy level is high! Also, Mika could be a good artist to listen to.
YouTube has plenty of upbeat instrumental music, if you like.
My advice would be just listen to songs in a major key and that please your ears! And songs from movie soundtracks!!
Edit: Thank you keltingmeith!

I am with you on this! I'm so into Feels at the moment!
And I thought it's worth mentioning that every single day since Sudodds mentioned it, I've listened to Come on Eileen. It makes me feel like I'm giddy in a pub in Ireland - why? Not sure. But I love it.

I thought I didn't like Calvin harris' new style but that made me reconsider. Although not sure why katy says "catch fish". ;) ;)
