Can anyone recommend me some textbooks/workbooks for studying Chinese (SL)?

I don't think there are many commercial ones dedicated to VCE Chinese (I doubt it's profitable considering the amount of students enroled). "Learn Chinese with me" (English version) Book 4 by The People's Education Press (跟我学汉语by人民教育出版社） might be worth a try. It's quite similar to the textbook my school uses (it's customised so I doubt they sell it to outsiders). It has a student book and a workbook with exercises in it.
