Title: Rock Solid Dedication
Post by: VinnyD on January 09, 2018, 04:12:15 am
So I started this thread because 1) I haven't really started anything on AN. 2) I've never been able to consistently keep to a regimen or schedule when it comes to school, gym or otherwise. I'm in Year 12 this year so I really have to get everything in order so I can use my time effectively and at the end of the day- be happy with my efforts.

You guys can see the subjects I'll be doing this year on the signature, so I'll be posting on this thread weekly, just to keep an update on subjects and such. I'm semi decent at English but I've never had a proper way of responding to prompts or analysing texts (hoping to improve drastically on this).

French is also a subject I need to improve on. I study French through distance education so I really need to be organised and make sure I cover all aspects of the language (any tips would be great considering I have lots of study periods to incorporate different study sessions)

Physics and Maths is okay atm because I've been trying to get ahead as much as possible (definitely a maths guy so why not use it to my advantage). Despite this, I haven't been able to get that far in spec atm- hoping to change this after school starts.

Feel free to move this thread into a journal thread or anything if it doesn't really fit in :)
Also, please tell me if I can improve on anything :)

Hey Vinny! I'm happy to see this post :)

I'm studying French through distance TAFE in the next six months (I'll start this afternoon fingers crossed) so your accountability will inspire me ;)

Excited for your updates, Vinny!

Sounds like you could make yourself a VCE Journey Journal to keep us updated on how you go through the year! :)

That's good to hear! French is such a beautiful language! (realising how rewarding it is in year 12)  Good luck with your studies! :)

I was thinking of starting a journal, but I felt like an initial motivation post would hold me a bit more accountable haha. I'll be sure to start one when school starts :)
