Title: Broken CAS?
Post by: PhoenixxFire on February 20, 2018, 09:06:25 am
Hey,
I was using my CAS with no problems last year, I left it on my desk all holidays and now it's giving me this every time I try and turn it on. Does anyone know what caused it or how to fix it?

I used a different calculator but when I had problems I usually replaced the batteries (I realise that most of them are plugged in to be charged these days so maybe just run it till it's completely flat then charge it up again) and that would fix things up.

I also found my maths teacher to be pretty knowledgeable about calculators so maybe see if your teacher knows what to do? Otherwise, maybe see if the calculator company has a contact email or something. :)

Yeah, your teacher should know how to fix this, so I'd suggest asking them. I know a few people who suffered the same issue, and If I recall correctly, the teacher simply connected it to another CAS and loaded the OS back onto their calculators. :)
