Title: Extremely desperate for a 40+ SS in ENL
Post by: Edwardian on June 26, 2018, 12:08:56 pm
Can anyone give me tips on writing ACs and short answer questions? My average is really suffering with the four SACs I've done, I am overall above average. So far I have received an 80% on SAC 1 Informal Short Answer, 68% SAC1B Informal AC, 72% on Formal Short Answer and 72% again on Formal AC. I am happy to copy over my SAC responses to anyone who is willing to help.

Pls halp, im v scare~

Hey, welcome to the forums. :)

First of all, are you aware of the following free resources?
* English Language videos (some cool stuff here on answering questions and the like)
* English Language notes, including previous lecture slides

Those resources might be more helpful to some students than others. If you're looking for specific feedback on your responses, as you've sort of alluded to in your post, you can post them in this thread here. :)

P.S. I don't think you can really get too much out of your raw scores. For example, 72% on the formal AC doesn't really say much, because different schools have different SACs, and also different marking standards.
