Title: Incoherent/Coherent Light?

Do we have to be able to distinguish between Incoherent and Coherent light? I swear I can't remember this from school =S turned up in NEAP 07 though

Yes, you should know the difference.

ie the difference between a coherent laser source and an ordinary lightbulb.

i also heard this concept was taken out of the study design and but placed in the photonics section of the exam
