Title: Module B Essay
Post by: MiaBiaPia23 on July 25, 2018, 09:21:10 pm
Hey everyone,

I got 19/20 for this essay, but I want to make sure that is what I deserve (as in I could actually get 19/20 in the HSC). I don't know if it's just me being paranoid, but I'm worried my score is too high for my writing ability. Any feedback would be great!

Thanks,
Mia

Hey,
I've attached my feedback :)
My text for Mod B is actually Yeats, so I haven't actually studied Hamlet, but it's one of my favourite plays. I'm also coming first internally for English Advanced and Extension 1, so most of the feedback I offered is about your language choices.

The feedback is great! However, one thing I would add is that I'm not to sure about adding techniques in the conclusion, even if you're recapping their effect and what they do to the audience. Then again, in saying that, I myself wouldnt know what to write instead, i'm terrible at conclusions ah

Techniques in conclusions really depend on teachers - some teachers love seeing the summary of what techniques you discussed, others hate it so it's really luck of the draw.

Yea, I dont really like doing luck of the draw things because its so... gambl-y xD
But yea, for trials I would check with your teacher
