I reckon I’ve got my procrastination completely under control...that’s why I currently have a textbook open in front of me but I’m on here instead of working haha. I think that I use my phone less if it’s not in front of me when I’m trying to work, kind of hard when I’m listening to music off it but it helps if I put it in my bag or under something so I don’t constantly see it.

I actually don't deal with it until the work becomes too much for the timeframe. Basically I just screw around until I'm like 'ah crap im so screwed send help', so I'm probably not the best person to ask about coping strategies, but this totally works for me.

All of those other poll options distract me from my main purpose: the ATAR Notes Forums.

Probably doing general time wasting things like Netflix, YouTube etc. However currently not watching anything on Netflix so suggestions welcome. Also I try not to do any of this at my desk.

But when I'm actually doing work I probably procrastinate the most when I watch lectures online  - usually in the form of Spotify because I can't do both at once  :'(

I procrastinate in just about any and every way possible.

Reddit, ATAR Notes, Quora, Youtube, Netflix, emails (I am subscribed to way to many mailing lists), messaging friends, building jigsaw puzzles, annoying my siblings, Facebook, listening to podcasts and that is just what I can think of right now. I am really bad at procrastination and only end up doing work if it is required and I always rush it last minute.

So I actually have no coping techniques. I have just developed really bad habits over the years. I feel like that is because up until year 9 I was getting high marks in almost everything without studying. So the habit of not studying has sticked.

AN of course....
Definitely AN for me to, as well as watching YouTube and mindlessly scrolling through Instagram. When I need to get things done, I just seem to force myself to stop procrastinating but I don't know what I would do if there were no deadlines or expectations.

I'm planning to take a 72 hour internet break starting tomorrow, so that might help. I also used to have a rule about no technology in bed and that definitely slowed down my internet usage and helped me to avoid wasting time.
