Title: USyd Equity Scholarship
Post by: owidjaja on September 04, 2018, 11:56:43 am
Hey guys,
So I'm applying for Women in Engineering/ equity scholarships at USyd and part of their personal statement asks me to "Please provide details of how you meet the equity eligibility requirements for the scholarship you are applying for."

That's the thing: what in the world do I say since I'm applying for Women in Engineering? I mean, I fit the eligibility requirements because I am female- is there anything else to say?

Hmm, that’s a bit funny, eh? Is there a word limit?

Maybe explain what fields of engineering you’re interested in, and what you plan to do with an engineering degree after your graduate? They probably want to make sure that you’ll be contributing something meaningful to society or the like if you study engineering.

Good luck with applications!! :)

Yeah, the character limit is 2000 characters, which is approximately 200 words (according to USyd).

But yeah, thanks for giving me suggestions :)
