Hey all,
I was just wondering whether there any tips you have for finishing the Biology Exam on time as in practise exams, I am sometimes unable to finish a few marks worth of questions
Thanks

Practice. Do a lot of trial exams. What I generally like to do is start off with the short answer questions. They are usually harder to do, worth more marks and take longer. Then go back to the multiple choice. Don't spend to much time on multiple choice. If you don't know the answer to something, guess then come back to it if you have time. Try not to be stressed or nervous. Try to keep calm, focused and avoid looking at others. Check the clock from time to time to make sure you are on track.

I think an important part of this as well is using your reading time properly.
Personally what I do is use my reading time to read all of the short answer questions as this gives me an idea of what to expect - if you don't read them before hand then you could turn a page and see 6 questions or you could get a graph with a 1 mark question. If you read them first then you know what's coming up and can sort of estimate how long you're going to need to answer things (like, don't actually try and work out how long it will take, it just gives you a bit of an idea).
