So, I know this isn’t anything new, given some (not so) subtle occurrences on the forum. At its core though it’s basically been the most precious and almost unbelievable thing to happen to me this year, and very likely for way longer. I’ve always wanted to make this post because I literally have ATAR Notes to thank for this even being a possibility.
This year July 18, I rounded off a year of my lectures and my best friend Louise (insanipi) came to support me. Later that night, we got to be alone and I asked her to be my girlfriend. My life completely turned around when she said YES! Five and a half months of being in overall better moods followed since then. I’ve constantly received support and care for her in times of hardship and found myself much more satisfied with where I’m at out.
This was our first photo we had as a couple. It was me flying down to Melbourne with her not long after everything started.

This could not have happened for me without ATAR Notes honestly. I would not have been able to meet such an amazing person any other way. I have many things to thank AN for but this ultimately overrules everything. I absolutely needed to get this out before 2018 ends and felt this would be really worth my 8000th post, because after all 8 is the luckiest number in Chinese culture.
