Hey! Debating whether I should keep my hair dyed for school photos?
Lowkey worried whether people would see it as 'unprofessional' if going for something like a scholarship for university. Any thoughts? Cheers.

This would depend- do you plan from dyeing your hair into a natural hair colour or an unconventional hair colour?
Our school was fine with brunettes dyeing their hair blonde and vice versa. But if someone had bright hair, they would be forced to dye their hair back to a normal colour.

If it helps, I don't think any scholarship has ever requested a photo of me.
Interviewers, on the other hand, get the whole picture.

What colour is the hair dye? I'd be surprised if your school allowed photos to be taken using an unconventional colour dye.
From a 'professional' point of view, unconventional colours definitely don't help image. Natural colours I'd think are ok.
You have to consider that not everybody holds the 'open' and 'freedom of expression' view so it's important you factor this into your decision making.
It's a similar scenario to tattoos - they're Ok in general but they don't help if you're trying to present yourself professionally.

If your school allows it, then definitely!
