Hey guys,
Does anyone know if you get half marks in further??
Like for example, if the question is worth 1 marks and it ask you if it’s better to use the mean and median, or mode and median, and you have to explain why, then
If I said mean and median and it’s right, but my explanation is wrong, would I get the .5 mark?
Thanks

In the end-of-year exams, there are no half marks. If any part of your response to a 1 mark question is either wrong or fails to answer the question, you cannot be awarded the mark.
In SACs however, it's really up to your school how they want to mark assessments.

Yep, this is also my understanding. Half marks in my cohort were very common, but I believe it's just not a thing for exams.
