Joseph, you remember how you asked me in the other thread if there were any subjects I was hoping to avoid clashing?

Philosophy & Methods 2 on the same day.  :).....

Bummer!

So, what have you got?

EngLang - 31 October
Methods #1 - 6 November
Methods #2 - 7 November
Philosophy - 7 November
Legal Studies - 12 November
Global - 18 November

The double-up sucks a bit, but looks pretty good overall IMO. Probably good that EngLang has been moved earlier than traditionally has been the case!

Who’s this genius at VCAA who thinks it’s funny to put biology and further 1 on the same day?? 😠😠

From memory it's been like this for a while, but I could be wrong. Is Further exam #1 multiple choice?

Yep. Exam 1 is multiple choice.

Hopefully not too horrible, then!

Bless!

6th — Methods Tech Free
7th — Methods Tech Active
18th — Systems Engineering

Nice! Feeling good for them at this stage?

I don’t know to be honest. Slightly more worried about methods than systems. It’s been a while since I last did VCE and I’ve already forgotten what it was like lol!

Haha, I'm sure it'll come back pretty quickly. Your experience with those other subjects will surely be helpful. :)

All my subjects are back to back - the only day I can rest is Cup day. Rip to doing STEM subjects (and the three maths)

I wonder what the rationale was with the moves for EngLang, Eco etc.

Brutal!

Because it's one step closer! ;D

That Cup Day holiday is interestingly placed, isn't it? Are you exclusively doing STEM subjects + English?

Not a single double exam day!

30th October: English
1st November: Bio
6th November: Methods 1
7th November: Methods 2
8th November: Health & Human Development
12th November: Chemistry

Now it feels a lot more real... :-\

Pretty good spread! Nice little break to focus on Methods/HHD there, and then another nice little break for Chem. :)

I was thinking it could be something to do with the amount of students undertaking the subject? I assume that there's far less students studying Economics this year compared to the amount doing EngLang

Yeah, could be! I always found it weird that EngLang was so late given English was so early tbh. Probably makes more sense this way.

It has indeed! When I did Year 12 and even before I did it (like probably 2013-ish?), Biology and Further exams have been notoriously close to each other, if not on the same day. The same has happened with Further and Bus Man. Ironically, they’re also some of the most popular subjects, so at least you’re not alone, I guess?

Genuinely would be really interested to know how these timetables are put together!

Overall a pretty decent spread of exams for me. Got none right next to each other other than Chem and Spesh 2.

30th - English
8th - Spesh 1
11th - Spesh 2
12th - Chem
14th - Eco
20th - LOTE
