Title: legal family law paragraph help?

Hi! im really stuck on what to talk about for these essay questions, would appreciate any help & advice. Thank you !

1) "society values stable family relationships" - to what extent do Australian legal processes reflect this statement?
2) Assess the effectiveness of law reform in addressing issues faced by families in the 21st century

With he first one, it is essentially asking you to evaluate to what extent the law has mechanisms and remedies to  deal with unconventional/ unstable family relationships. These include de-facto couples, separating couples etc

The second question is nice and broad and would give you the opportunity to talk about the effectiveness of law reform in meeting the needs of society today. Here, you would focus on the contemporary issues such t Same sex couples (marriage, equality, adoption), or even go into de-facto couples, single parent families etc. they are all current issues which were not as prevalent 50 years ago.
