Hello!
I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good resources for Religion and Society. It seems to be quite a niche subject with not a whole lot out there. I'm especially looking for resources for Unit 2 at present.
Meanwhile... here are some Unit 1 resources:
U1 AOS 1:
- This set of videos about the nine aspects: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZLG6fZc7K8&list=PLmL9aFK0Ory9bpXQUjh_Pou5G4l2rwd7p
U1 AOS 2:
- ClickView: If your school or local library has a ClickView subscription, there are heaps of videos about Indigenous peoples talking about their religion, as well as showing how it changed over time. Some good ones are: Bush Preachers, Zach's Ceremony, Women of the Sun, Corranderrk
- The Aboriginal Catholic Ministry's Website: https://www.cam.org.au/acmv/
U1 AOS 3:
- For this section, I mainly worked through practice questions as our entire SAT was just going to be analysis of data and passages. I relied heavily on the textbook.
- I also read up on Chrismukkah and how people from other religions celebrate Christmas in Australia. (eg. some families use the free public transport to go to the beach for the day). There was a really great article, but I can't find it now. If I come across it, I'll edit this post and link it.

Some videos that are worth watching:
Harvard University "THE MORAL SIDE OF MURDER"
(this is very insightful and complements the topic of Ethics in Unit 2)

After watching the video answer this question: The Cannibal Case: what human rights do you think were breached in this case?
