Hi there ATARNotes,
I'm a year 12 currently about a week from the final submission of my SAT.
Once my results from part 2 are handed back to me, I was thinking of giving SoftDev students in the future a nice resource here in the form of a SAT guide.
As a pretty niche subject, SoftDev doesn't really seem to have a lot of resources, and as a rather high scoring (98% on the first SAC and first part of the SAT so far) student I figure my word's probably worth something in helping people out?
I just wanted to drop this intro post to gather a few pointers as to what sort of things people would like to be covered. I can cover my own struggles and the broad strokes but often enough it's the little things that are the biggest source of anxiety.
Get back to me folks, I'll start work on the SAT part 1 guide as soon as I start hearing from you (and as soon as I've submitted my SoftDev and Media folios, where that ten ton weight will finally be lifted off my shoulders).

too bad the study design is changing next year so it may be slightly different

Oh right, that's a point. I doubt it'll impact the SAT much though

2020's study design's been released: https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/vce/computing/2020AppliedComputingSD.docx
Details on the SAT start on page 50 of the document (page 46 in the SD contents). SAT doesn't seem too different from what we've done this year at first glance but I see changes elsewhere
