If complete a chem major as an undergrad, will I be eligible to demonstrate chem labs for some extra income/interpersonal skills while I take a Master of Teaching? Most of my demonstrators are current honors or PhD students, but I remember I once had a relief demonstrator who minored in chem.

Most of the time, tutors are typically offered as a position for research students in that field (I.e. Chem Honours or Chem PhD), but I can’t see the harm in asking around and seeing if you can get a position as a tutor. If not, have a look into whether you still qualify for being a PASS tutor before you finish the undergrad degree. Pretty sure there are some other opportunities to demonstrate/ tutor while doing your MTeach, so definitely do some more research and take my word with a grain of salt.
