Hi!
I will be a Monash b.pharm student in 2021. Just here to ask around if someone is kind enough to share some first year lecture notes to advance study. I am also curious, would I be able to lead onto medicine after taking GAMSAT after completion of my master's degree? Or does medicine require specific units that are not included in my course? If medicine does require units from the faculty of medicine, how would I go about attaining these specific units?

Hey!
Just a headsup that lecturer's lecture slides from universities are copyrighted- and therefore it is against the forum rules to ask for/advertise to distribute them. :)
As with all faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences units, content often can be changd from year to year as well, meaning that what is taught in 2019 or 2020 can be changed in 2021 :) (especially as both courses have been changed a fair bit since 2017!)
However, I believe that there is a med pathway after completing the BPharm/MPharm. Unfortunately I'm not well versed in the actually pathway myself 😅
All the best for Pharmacy though, when the time comes! ^_^

Hey there!
Just to add onto insanipi's reply above, you can be considered for a place with a Monash Pharmacy degree (see this link for more details), as well as other degrees such as Physio, Science and Biomedical Science. You will not need to take the GAMSAT if you follow this pathway, however it is recommended that you do in order to be eligible for other universities' Postgrad Med courses. :)
Applications to be considered for a place in this program will be open to students who have completed the following Monash University degrees with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 or above:
Bachelor of Biomedical Science (including double degrees)
Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)
Bachelor of Science (including double degrees and dependent on the completion of designated units* - see list below)
Hope you enjoy Pharmacy! 8)
