Hi,
I was wondering what some instances are of Standard English being used in informal language? I learnt that Non-Standard English was a key part of the informal register and I was just wondering what some features of the Standard were?

Standard English being English widely accepted as the norm. One could argue that in an informal context (discord chat with friends), "LOL "would be considered standard, as would "thx" or "wassup".

Does that give you ideas?
