Roughly what marks should you get for SACs and Exam for a 35-40 in chem?

On the exam you need around a 70%-82% to get a SS from 35-40. Thats just using this website I found https://twmpublications.com/statistics
(It depends on the year though because the exam last year was harder and I got 78% and got a 42, so it's just a rough guide)
On the sacs it completely depends on how you are ranked relative to your classmates so you can roughly judge it by finding out how many people in the previous year levels got 35/40+ scores at your school, and find out if you are roughly in the top (thatnumber) in your cohort.
Good luck! :)
