For Q 0.05 above the average rainfall 2008 ?
-
Dont understand what you mean?
-
I think the correlation was negative and autumn was 5% higher than average not 1.05 times, unless they accept that too? not to sure.
Your business was exactly the same as mine, and you know with those suburbs i put E on it's own.. and i connected the bottom left dot to the bottom right dot, please tell me that was right, i had to guess it.. lol.
-
think i got the same as you for business =D
but stuffed up the last question in number patterns!! :(
-
Dont understand what you mean?
For Qu. 5 the answer is
The rainfall in autumn is 5% greater on average
-

yea i put down negative, and 5% too
-
3cii is -0.899 because of the negative slope, i got this one wrong however :(
-

For Qu. 5 the answer is
The rainfall in autumn is 5% greater on average
Either 1.05 times the average or 5% above the average will be fine, 0.05 times the average won't be accepted.
-
can someone please tell me if I'm right or wrong? lol you know with those suburbs i put E on it's own.. and i connected the bottom left dot to the bottom right dot, please tell me that was right, i had to guess it.. lol.

mm, hopefully they accept my way of saying it :S
And in the adjancey matric it had B and D as having a degree of 2, so you had to add an edge between them
And yeh the correlation should be negative not positive :(
-
I think i'm wrong, but this is what i did.. had to guess the line.

-
Have a look at the adjaceny matric above, for C and D there is a 0 in the column. for B and D there is a 2 so extra edge must be aded between B and D

For this question:
4c. Reducing balance will give higher deprecitation, $10953.17
I think you're actually supposed to write down the amount it depreciated by - it says "Write down the greater depreciation amount in dollars correct to the nearest cent", so based on your answer it should have been $11046.83
-

Yer you take the depreciation off the value, that's what i did.

Yeh i think your right on that one..hopefully i didnt get to many more wrong
-
for module 4 question 3b i got 3876.97... is that right?
-
Yea, I'm pretty sure you had to connect B to D again, since C and D arn't actually directly connected
-
for module 4 question 3b i got 3876.97... is that right?
Yes i mistyped out my answer, i got 3876.97 aswell
-
how did you get $151133.38 for business 5a. ?
-
Business question 2 you got wrong. From memory, it says something like "express the cheaper price as a percentage of the RRP" hence a 24% discount = 76% of the original RRP.
-
i only did core, M1,M2 and M6 but from what u did looks right
-
how did you get $151133.38 for business 5a. ?
I used the TVN solver
N= 60
I%= 4.65
PV=200000
PMT= -1500
FV= 151133.38
P/Y=12
-
for module 4 question 3b i got 3876.97... is that right?
That's exactly what i got.
-
Business question 2 you got wrong. From memory, it says something like "express the cheaper price as a percentage of the RRP" hence a 24% discount = 76% of the original RRP.
It says "Find the discount as a percentage of the recommended retail price" ...so im not sure if ive done it right :S im shit with wording of questions

Nope, says "Find the discount as a percentage of the recommended retail price" so they are right.

You are right.

b. If Rebecca borrows the $250 from the store's finance company she will pay $6 interest per month'
Calculate the annual flat interest rate charged. Write your answer as a percentage correct to one decimal
place.
72/250 = 28.88 rounded to 28.9%
-
For module 4, 5b. $41133 but i got 61133.38, i did 151133.38 - (60+ 1500) is that right?
-

I think they actually meant question 1B, not question 2.
-

I got 61,133.38 to start, i then was pretty sure i was wrong and looked at it like this.. 151,113.38 left to pay so that's 48,886.62 paid off the loan principle.. she/he made 1500 payments 60 times (12*5) so that's 90,000 of non interest money.. this should have made the balance 110,000 but instead the balance was 151,113.38 so that remainder was all interest paid.. that's what i did.. could be wrong?
-
damn i mucked up the last question on the number patterns module cos i got a CAS calc and its fiddly to do sequences on it :(
-
for number patterns, i let one side =5000 and i subbed in 5000 on the other side.. and they turned out to be both 5000... so i said therefore we can see that blahblah
is that still correct?
-
Your dont join C and D together, matrix said value for b and d was 2 and there was only 1 line between them so you needed to add one between them
-
Have a look at the adjaceny matric above, for C and D there is a 0 in the column. for B and D there is a 2 so extra edge must be aded between B and D
I totally agreed with you according to the matrix theres no from B to D
-
I think i'm wrong, but this is what i did.. had to guess the line.
I'm quite certain that edge is wrong. Vertex E had no edges so it would just be a dot anywhere on the page. Correct on that one. But if you have a look at the adjacency matrix, vertex B goes to D twice and vertex D goes to B twice. SO the missing edge would be another line linking B and D
