Hey guys so for some of my subjects I am doing disgusting. English, economics and chemistry are probably my best ones. My unit 3/4 subject, math methods and biology did not go too well. So my question should I just work as ass off for the duration of this year? or maybe I can repeat so I can have a clean slate.

In response to the question you have asked in your thread title: No.

Your bottom two subjects (sans English) will contribute 10% to your ATAR aggregrate each. This means ultimately they may not matter that much.
Think of all the things you'd do differently in a hypothetical second Year 11, and instead use that for the remainder of this year, and your Year 12 for next year. If you can improve the former, you can improve the latter.
If it's about a personal goal to achieve a certain study score, then I can assure you after VCE you'll barely remember your scores. They only have one purpose, and that's university entry. If it's a worry you won't achieve highly enough for your desired course, then I should note that are always alternate pathways, which can be searched on the individual uni websites, past threads on ATAR Notes, or spoken about with your careers counsellor (I'd recommend this option).
