Title: one semester in and I still don't know what to do with my life

As the title says, I'm grinding through uni with no idea what I'm doing. The degree I'm doing in science is fine but its not what I love. I love design and art but the jobs out there aren't great according to society. I also would have to move away from a prestigious uni to go to another uni that is better at design which my parents are against. Thanks for listening to my rant. Is anyone in a similar situation or got any advice?
