Exactly that^ In terms of difficulty, workload, and overall time spent on it.

Hello! This is my perspective on it as a Year 11 student undertaking 3/4 methods.
Workload:
Decently high. Consistent exercises and need to revise concepts and practice exam questions. However, it depends on how high you are aiming and how good you are at maths.
Difficulty:
More difficult than 1/2 but doable with solid 1/2 knowledge. Unit 3 is a repeat of Units 1/2 with more differentiation and a few more functiony things. Unit 4 is pretty much all new content. Difficulty 5-9/10 depending on topic
Overall time:
I think I probably spend about 4-8 hours outside of class time on methods per week, but this may be a little higher than average considering it is one of my early 3/4s.
Hope this helps :)

Workload:
Not bad. I made my life hell trying to complete all the textbook questions. But if you settle into rhythm of consistent study, the workload is manageable compared to 1/2.
Difficulty:
3/4 methods is more complex than 1/2, but I think it's actually "easier". I say this because in 3/4 you get a firmer grasp of the concepts you're working with and where they come from, whereas 1/2 is a bit all over the place and new.
Overall time:
I did around 4-5 hours a week :)
