Did you guys rote learn the 10 poems and rewrite them in the exam?

No - look up the VCAA papers for Lit and see what the question is.
We have to write a sustained discussion on how meaning is created through language use.

lol why would you rote learn when your meant to use the passages given to base your discussion? seems like a waste of time.. could be memorising stuff you actually need for other subjects

You are given the passages you need to discuss, you don't need to rote learn anything. Silly.

I can tell you those people will not get a good mark for their analyses. Examiners can sniff a rote-learnt response a MILE away!
