Say you got an enter, examples sake: 90
The course you want to get into has a clearly in of 91 and a fringe of like 89.
If you don't get a 1st round offer but got another offer ( such as science), should you accept it 1st?
If you got offered the course you wanted for a second round, can you reject that science position and take the one you want?
What would happen to that position? does it get sent out to another person for the next round? How many rounds are there? What if you get the course you want on the last round and wanted to reject a previously accepted offer? What happens to that position?
Thanks!

Accept everything. You can always reject later, at least you have something to fall back on, etc.

There are 3 rounds, I think. Accept whatever you get in round one. If it wasn't your first preference you could still get another offer in the next round. If you do get your first preference, you won't receive any more offers (unless you try for an irregular offer).

There's only two rounds now...I'm pretty sure.

I'm not sure about other courses, but I know Medicine has pretty much as many rounds as the uni needs to fill up all their places. I had friends in my course receive Medicine offers to other universities 2 weeks after uni had already started. I assume the same could be done with other courses, but it's just less likely since Medicine is the kind of course where people pretty much apply all over Australia for, and will need to consequently reject like 8 offers if they get into their home state.

Yes, it's changed this year. There's two rounds and the third round is being replaced by a "Supplementary Offer". Basically, the supplementary offer is for those people who have not received an offer in the previous rounds and VTAC gives out your information to all the unis. The unis then send you all the courses that still have vacancies and you choose whichever course you want.
