Hey Im Ryan, and I will be tutoring Units 3/4 VCE Chinese in 2021.
Raw 50 in CSL + Premiers Award (2019)
1 full year of tutoring experience
220+ hours of tutoring experience
Graduated from Melbourne High School (2020) with a 99.95 ATAR
Chinese is a difficult subject - if you lack the foundational skills, you struggle to complete basic language tasks at a reasonable standard; if you have a good foundation, you struggle to make solid progress, and struggle to achieve the top marks. Throughout 2020, I have tutored students whose language abilities vary greatly, and all of them have been able to gain unique insight and learn unique strategies to excel in VCE Chinese. Having already tutored VCE Chinese under the new study design, I know what it takes to be an excellent tutor, and what the best way is to structure lessons, given any language subject is inherently a subject unlike the rest.
