Hi hdfgh!

Welcome to ATARNotes :)

Regarding your question, it depends on a couple of factors:

1. Are you planning to become a pediatrician or a pediatric nurse? As both careers have somewhat different paths in terms of tertiary study

2. What degree are you planning to pursue after year 12?

If you are planning to pursue nursing, general mathematics is fine but also do check the university's specific requirements. However, if you are planning to become a pediatrician, which required a medical degree, you have a couple of pathways here, including direct entry or postgraduate entry into medicine. This direct entry pathway requires methods as well as undertaking the UCAT exam.

If you have any more questions, don't be afraid to ask :)

Hope this helps!
