Hello,
Didn't quite understand what 'timely applications' mean? Apparently, they're closing on the 30th of September? Does that mean the courses which are listed under this website: https://www.vtac.edu.au/early-close.html will not be able to be moved around on my preference list? Or does that mean that after the 30th, if I don't have them on my preference list, I can't add them?
Thanks

Hi!
Timely applications mean that you will be able to pay the lowest amount to submit your application ($42). Timely applications close on the 30th of September. If you submit your application and course preferences after this, you will have to pay a greater fee ($122). Don't worry though, you can continue editing your preferences and adding courses sometime closer to results coming out :)
You can find more information here

Hope this helps!

Thanks ArtyDreams- just to make sure, timely applications just refer to paying the fee on time? If so, what are the 'early-close' applications in this website about? https://www.vtac.edu.au/early-close.html
-
Not ArtyDreams but timely applications are those that are placed before the 30th of September at 5pm. The fee is $42 if you apply before then, but the fee increases if you apply after that date (scroll down to the bottom of the website that Arty linked for more details on that).
The 'early-close' applications mean that you have to apply for those courses before the listed date. For instance, if you try to apply to Music at UniMelb after the cut-off date, your application for that course will not be accepted and you will be no longer eligible to apply for that course during this VTAC application cycle.
Hope this helps :)
