besides hr planning, recruitment, screening and selection, aptitude tests, interviews, training, job analysis(spec+descr), performance management, recognition and reward, employment contracts and packages and termination are ther any other hr strategies
i think we should have strategies for each stage of the employment cycle, i'll start.. btw.. im putting in induction as estabilshing
establlishing
hr planning
job analysis
job desc+ job spec
selection process(interviews, tests, referee tests)
induction
maintaining
emplyment packages
training needs analysis
recognition and reward
performance mgmt
termination
redundancy packages
dismissal(summary/due process)
exit interviews
can't think of much for termination, just having a crack at it
anyone else got anymore? if there's something wrong with the list, let me know.. cheers

Induction isn't in the establishing phase, it's in the maintenance phase because the applicant has been employed. An induction program is implemented to help employees adapt so that they will not resign thus keeping employees at the organisation.

induction can be put into either establishing or maintaining as there are inconsistencies between text books and either is acceptable.. that's why i said i was going to put it into the establishing phase
anyone got anything else to put in there

that is true, the new study design will specifically list them under one of them, i think it was maintainence.
