So I had my first day back today. LAST FIRST DAY BACK EVER
It was pretty good, have the best timetable ever, double spares everyday and I got all the teachers I wanted, plus all I did was have assembly, got my timetable and had one class then went home.
How was everyone else's first day back?
-
I got a decent timetable.
-
You're home at 2:53?!? Lucky duck!
3/5 days I was home after 5pm :(
-
Yeah I get out at lunch time two days a week :D
OH by the way anyone doing legal studies should note this:
some girl in my class asked the teacher this (while we were doing a legal introductory quiz)
"Is Australia a democracy?"
lol we are competing against THAT
-
lol. We had these lame workshops about studying, enter and relaxation -- one teacher pissed me off because when she said "if you get an ENTER of 50" urgh :P.
But we got free lunch and i pwned spec, so it's all good :)
My quote I made at New year's day:
"The Year 2008 - Pwn it or be pwned"
then on the day before school started:
"This the beginning of the end!"
-

Oh that's sad =( Lol

My day was alright....had assembly then 3 periods of admin stuff, then PE!!!!!! Then methods and then i came home coz i had a double spare w00t!!!
oh yeah, apparently our yr level set a record for getting kicked out of the common room....but it was only for recess :D
-
last first day of school was an epic fail
-
its unbelievable its our last first day :P
-
Well, it's good to see that most of you had a great first day back! Just remember to enjoy this year. Balance the studying with fun, and havoc-wreaking torment of teachers as well.
-
first and I had to put up with methods and receive homework, i mean fuck sake. ZERO SOCIAL LIFE BEGINS
-
I hate school assemblies. SO DAMN HUMID.
But on the brighter side of things, I have awesome teachers this year. :D
... and I have spares everyday! (sometimes a double spare!)
-
its my last first day tommorow... would it be lame if i took my camera for the special occassion?
-
its gonna be an epic year ;)
i now sit in an english class where only 2 people have read 1984 and two people have begun reading it and the rest havent even bothered... other classes are somewhat better, but u get the gist
my goal for this year is to avoid any petty fights in my social group..... it happens so much it's saddening to even think about it :(
LOOOLL
and now a headache i have not experienced since school finished...
I am going to enjoy every breaths satisfied with the knowledge that it'll be one less breath until the end that awaits..... ;D

lol my social group is violent and one of us pushes this other guy around (like physically), it's hilarious!

My last first day was pretty uneventful. I start actual classes tomorrow.
We spent the day at Deakin Uni having weird motivational talks about '3 trademark words we want our cohort to be seen us and behaviours that demonstrate these trademarks.'
Then arvo was our careers teacher going on about VCE then a tour of Deakin Uni.
-
mine was alright... lol our group introduced ourselves to these new students (they were siblings) and all of us are like 'i'm the coolest nerd!' and the new guy said 'nolar, i'm the coolest!' and i just HAD to say 'does that mean you admit that you're a nerd?!' XD
-
Mine was a usual school day.
Good to notice extra frees in the study timetable, though.

I always seemed to waste my frees. School just wasn't a good working environment for me lol. Too many to talk to and too much music to listen to in frees.
-
Oh I forgot to say that I got my Yr 12 jumper today :D

thats exactly what this guest speaker made us do too, ours words were like united, proud, satisfied and happy.. which all go nicely into a acronym of "push" which is what everyones going to be drumming into our heads all year.. i dont remember what our behaviors were though.
-
LOL those seminars are good in theory, but their ideas are lost the moment you walk out the door.

Was your guest speaker from 'leading teams'? lol
I think our words were: inspirational, postive and sucessful.
Funniest moment when a student commented that in 6 months no one will care about/remember the words anymore.

awwr. look at all the ickle little yr12s :D
