will the demand of Monash courses increase due to the Melb model? ::)
-
not sure about engineering but reasonably sure 99 plus would guarantee law, commerce etc so be happy and congrats :)
-
The Melbourne Model had already been implemented for the 2009 class so there it is unlikely to have any significant effect on this years entry scores. But you never know... in any case, you have a pretty competitive score for any course.
-
haha thanks i was pretty surprised, but wrapt obviously
-
Well they said it would go up again for Law. This is all I can tell you.
-
up yes, but from 98 to 99 is a fairly big jump... my guess would be roughly 98.6 if it does go up
-
but the year before, arts law was 99 and law was 99.3 in monash....any chance it'll go up like that again?
-
oh really? well clearly i dont really know what's going on i thought it was always about 98... sorry!

They said they were expecting it to go up to like 99/99.05.
-
should still be right for you then? :P

I was told that the cut-offs for the various law courses at Monash dropped last year because they received extra funding - it wasn't just an inexplicable aberration. This funding is supposed to continue next year and therefore I would think/hope that the cut-offs won't increase too much. I'm hoping to get into arts/law.

Yeah this is true, and that's what I thought but I'm just going by what they said to me!
It's my second preference anyway.
