Title: methods cas exam

how many exams are there for mathematical methoods cs is it like the further maths way,at the end of the year or 2 exams one for semester 1 and semester 2

There are two end-of year exams. You do one somewhere around November, and then Exam 2 the day after.

No.  You can bring in whatever programs or apps you deem necessary that will help you achieve your very best.  :)

Exam 1 and Exam 2. Exam 1 doesn't need calculator and has a much lower weighting than exam 2 - it's around 22% I think. Exam 2 is calculator approved and you can have any apps you desire. However it'd be a problem for showing working if you heavily rely on applications. Exam 2 is the most important piece of assessment, having a weighting of about 44%.

Yep no notes for exam 1. Most people try and 100% (if you're aiming for high 40s) it because it's meant to be very easy :)

Generally, what kind of aps would be handy anyway? So far the TI nspire CAS has been able to take whatever I throw at it.

try using algy2 it does come in handy most of the time :)

Algy2 was working fine on my classpad for a while, but now every time i open it i get a critical error and it resets my calc :(
