fark me :'(

Drop chem and do UMEP/MUEP/Further!!
:P
-
hhaha i wish, chems a pre-req for most science courses -.- only reason why im doing it.
-
:o I bet TrueTears recommends trial exams ASAP :P
-
superflya, stress less!
Read your english books and enjoy your holidays. That's the advice I give all prospective yr 12s.
THESE ARE THE LAST REAL HOLIDAYS YOU GET. ENJOY THEM NOW WHILE THEY STILL LAST. Go to the tennis, the cricket, the movies, whatever makes you happy!
Go to your first day refreshed, so you can apply yourself appropriately for the next 10 months :)
Good luck, superflya!

^^ will do enwiabe. thanks man ;)
-
Yeah enwiable's right just take it easy and relax :) You'll only do harm if you stress out now. I started studying for mid-years at around the end of April.
-
all taken on board :)
-
I had a love-hate relationship with Chem.
Love because of my good SACs, and the Maths calculations.
Hate because of my study score and some of the chapters - chromatography, spectroscopy etc.
-
haha if u offered me 44 right now id take it no questions asked but ive got no doubt that i'll be wanting more after i do my exams :P
-
Yeah because my teacher expected 46+ apparently from me.

I gotta say, from what I've read, I ain't really liking spectroscopy either. It's a little too Physicsesque for me. :P
On the other hand, ILY stoich. :D
-
spectroscopy and chromotography arent that bad, not saying im pro at it :P
-
haha. they sort of make sense, but interpreting the graphs looks confusing.
I haven't even picked up the book since I got up to NMR. :P
-

A lot of Unit 3 is new stuff; yet a lot of Unit 4 is extension of old stuff.

typical vcaa logic as to why they are do it back to front lol.
i've heard this before somewhere. someone said that unit 3 chem was much harder than unit 4.
-
^^ yea I've heard that too and judging by wat I've read, unit 3 is harder . havnt even bothered looking at proteins n that DNA crap.

eww! you're making me cringe :P

Err proteins and DNA is way better than spectroscopy.

^^^
you're probably right about that ky.
-
it's probably easier but I simply can't stand anything bio related :P at vce level anyway.
-
Lolol. Calm down people.
-
haha calm down. i wont calm down until november 11 when it is all over. :P
For those interested, UMAT is on july 28. Something else to "study/worry" for.

haha which exam is on the 11th? there's no calming down stormer not until I've finished looking over that last exam :P
not too stressed bout the umat, well not yet atleast lol

It was a real demotivator for me.
-
It gets easier after a bit of practice. I would advise you do organic first, before you begin trying to tackle NMR problems, as that would be a logical approach and make it easier.
-
i guess im lucky having done biol last year.
as all i found new in unit 3 was spectro and chromotrography?
-
gravimetry?
-
i don't really like area of study 1 at all.
but organic chemistry is all quite interestinggggg:)
!!!... just over 4months that's fuckkkkkkddddd
-
more like just under 5 months lol
-
^^^
haha, too true ken!
-
funny thing is, we havnt even started school :P
