He also told me that it costs half his hourly rate to mark 1 essay. So $45 per essay LOL and he doesn't mark essays related to SACs because they are meant to be independent work.

that is ridiculous that he charges so much and then charges extra for marking essays.

thats just ridiculous that he wont mark sacs i would ask that my tutor re mark my sac so they tell me how i can improve compared my teachers comments.

but him being an examiner of both yr12 eng and the GAT would mean that your getting a pretty decent tutor-  My friend has an examiner as her tutor and she charges $100.

That said, anything above $60 is too much i think

mum emailed him a few years ago and he sent like a flyer thing - if i recall correctly
or i could be mistaking him for another tutor

lol. i think the reason is that he doesnt want your teacher to mark HIS essay (which should be super after he's gone through it :P)
